Important Guidelines for the Pilgrimage Journey

Pilgrimage Preparation Guide

Alpha Travel sincerely thanks our Spiritual Directors, ladies, gentlemen, brothers, and sisters for accompanying us. To ensure a smooth journey and abundant spiritual blessings, please note the following essential information:

1. LUGGAGE & DOCUMENTS

  • Travel Documents: USA Passport and Visa (Must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date).
  • Checked bag: Maximum 50 lbs.
  • Carry-on/Backpack: Maximum 10 lbs.
  • You must take care of your personal belongings. Alpha Travel is not responsible for any damage, loss, or denied transportation due to overweight luggage.

2. HEALTH & INSURANCE

  • Medications: Bring daily prescriptions, cold/fever medicine, painkillers, and mosquito repellent.
  • Health Insurance: Travel medical insurance only covers hospital costs for accidents during the trip.
  • Process: You must pay upfront for any medical services, and the insurance company will reimburse you later.

3. ATTIRE & PERSONAL ITEMS

  • Church Attire: Strict dress codes apply. No bare shoulders or short skirts. Please bring a scarf or jacket.
  • Walking & Weather: Bring good walking shoes, an umbrella, raincoat, and sunscreen.
  • Essentials: Toothbrush, toothpaste, indoor slippers, and travel plug adapters (220V, round two-pin).
  • Currency: Exchange money into Euros or British Pounds at your bank 1 week prior.

4. TOUR GUIDELINES

  • Bus Seating: First 1-2 rows are reserved for Priests and organizers. Other seats rotate daily.
  • Punctuality: Strictly follow the group’s schedule. Alpha Travel is not responsible for waiting or covering personal expenses if you deviate from the itinerary.
  • Flexibility: For the group’s safety, Alpha Travel reserves the right to change the itinerary without prior notice due to weather, traffic, or security issues.
