The 2026 Vietnam Catholic Pilgrimage is a 17-day all-inclusive spiritual journey (flights, meals, hotels, taxes) departing from LAX. Pilgrims visit the Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang (Quang Tri) – where Mary appeared in 1798 – alongside key Catholic shrines at Tra Kieu, Nui Cui, Ta Pao, La Ma, and the tomb of Fr. Truong Buu Diep at Tac Say Church. The journey also includes Phu Quoc Island, Ha Long Bay, and Phong Nha Cave. Daily Mass, priest chaplain, limited group. From $3,850.
This is a rare privilege: celebrating Holy Mass right at the Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang – the site of the Marian apparition venerated by millions of Vietnamese faithful. The journey uniquely combines a pilgrimage to Vietnam’s 5 most renowned Marian centers: La Vang, Tra Kieu, Nui Cui, Ta Pao, and Our Lady of La Ma (Ben Tre).
Our 2026 tour coincides with a truly historic event. The group will visit his tomb at Tac Say Church (Bac Lieu) and attend the Beatification Mass of the late Reverend Father Francis Xavier Truong Buu Diep. This is a once-in-a-lifetime grace exclusive to 2026, a dream for millions of overseas Vietnamese faithful.
No hidden fees. The $3,850 package includes round-trip airfare from LAX, 4-to-5-star hotel accommodations, 3 meals per day, Medical Travel Emergency insurance, all entrance fees, and a bilingual tour guide. All you need to do is pack your bags and get ready for the journey.
A pilgrimage is more than just prayer. Our group will also experience the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, ride the longest cable car in Southeast Asia, cruise through the breathtaking Ha Long Bay, and explore Phong Nha Cave – a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
The group gathers at LAX airport 3 hours prior to departure. Our spiritual director, Fr. Vincente Pham Ngoc Hung, leads the Departure Prayer for a safe journey. This marks the beginning of a sacred pilgrimage—leaving the US, heading towards our Motherland in Vietnam and the Marian shrines chosen by Our Lady to appear and comfort her children. The flight departs at 1:00 AM on June 22. Travel documents and essentials are checked before boarding.

The group arrives at Tan Son Nhat Airport (Saigon), completes immigration procedures, and checks into the hotel. After resting, we visit the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon—a symbol of Vietnamese Catholicism and one of the most unique architectural landmarks in Saigon City. This first day in the homeland allows pilgrims free time to explore the city or visit relatives. Overnight in Saigon.

The group flies from Saigon to Hanoi. In the afternoon, we visit St. Joseph’s Cathedral (the Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Hanoi)—an ancient Gothic structure built in 1886. We then tour the capital city. In the evening, enjoy the famous local specialty, Cha Ca La Vong (Turmeric Fish with Dill). After dinner, take a leisurely walk to explore Hoan Kiem Lake and the 36 streets of the Old Quarter, experiencing the cultural rhythm of Hanoi at night. Overnight in Hanoi.

Visit So Kien Basilica—a national pilgrimage center, venerating the Vietnamese Martyrs. Next, visit Lang Van Church—considered the largest church in Vietnam, featuring typical Gothic architecture with a bell tower over 100 meters high. A special highlight is exploring the Phat Diem Stone Cathedral in Ninh Binh—a unique masterpiece of Vietnamese-French architecture, built entirely of stone and wood, with construction starting in 1875. Afterward, take a boat ride to admire the scenery of Tam Coc (“Ha Long Bay on land”) and meditate amidst majestic nature. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Visit the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Phu Nhai (Diocese of Bui Chu, Nam Dinh)—one of the most beautiful churches in Vietnam with a long history of the Christian faith in the region. In the afternoon, travel to Ha Long, check into the hotel, and prepare for the next day’s sea excursion. Overnight in Ha Long.

Our group glides past shimmering stalactite corridors, feeling the greatness of nature bestowed by God. The peaceful atmosphere on the sea provides a precious opportunity for spiritual reflection alongside fellow pilgrims. In the afternoon, travel to Thanh Hoa for the night.

THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY. Our priest presides over a Solemn Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang—where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in 1798, belonging to the Archdiocese of Hue. La Vang is the largest pilgrimage center for Vietnamese Catholics. In the afternoon, the group visits Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh)—a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, exploring the majestic beauty of the caves. Return to Hue for the night.

The group visits the Imperial City of Hue (UNESCO)—the royal palace of the Nguyen Dynasty, including the Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Purple Forbidden City, The Mieu, Hien Lam Pavilion, and the Nine Dynastic Urns. Enjoy a lunch of Hue specialties. Travel through the Hai Van Tunnel to Da Nang, stopping for photos at Lang Co and Tam Giang Lagoon. Afterward, make a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Tra Kieu (the second site in Central Vietnam where Our Lady appeared in 1885) and visit the ancient town of Hoi An. Overnight in Da Nang.
The group flies from Da Nang to Can Tho—the ‘Western Capital’ of the Mekong Delta. In the afternoon, visit Can Tho Cathedral—a historic architectural structure over 100 years old, preserving the history of the Catholic faith in the Southwest region. Rest in Can Tho, preparing your soul for tomorrow’s historic event.

HISTORIC EVENT 2026. Then visit Our Lady of Ta Pao—Ta Pao Marian Center (oriented as an international pilgrimage site) with the towering white cement statue of Our Lady of Ta Pao, 3m tall on a 2m pedestal—a symbol of reverence. Our Lady of Ta Pao has become one of the major Marian pilgrimage centers not only for Vietnam but for the diaspora worldwide. Overnight in Saigon.

Pilgrimage to Our Lady of La Ma (Ben Tre)—a famous spiritual center in the Southwest region. In the afternoon, the group has free time to explore Saigon or visit relatives for the last time.
